So I randomly fell on the movie The Blue Lagoon yesterday on tv and realized how gorgeous Brooke Shields was when she was younger. The movie was an utter disaster (and insanely sexual !?!?!?) but she looked stunning in every single scene. Wow.

The Great Gastby

I have just finished The Great Gatsby and I loved it. Oh so much. Everything was perfect and unconventional in this book which made it so heartbreaking. I cannot wait to be finished with school so that I can devour book after book and not feel totally guilty about it.
Marketing is up on Saturday, and then I have only 3 exams left.
So caught up in selling vegan soaps and shampoos and reading dreadful school notes I haven't got the time to do much else.
A cup of white tea is waiting for me.

Avant je circulais dans la vie, un amour
douloureux m'entourait: avant je retenais
une petite page de quartz
en clouant les yeux sur la vie.
J'achetais un peu de bonté, je fréquentais
le marché de la jalousie, je respirais
les eaux les plus sourdes de l'envie,l'inhumaine
hostilité des masques et des êtres.
Le monde où je vivais était marécage marin:
le fleur brusquement, le lis tout à coup
me dévorait dans son frisson d'écume,
et là où je posais le pied mon coeur glissait
vers les dents de l'abîme.
Ainsi naquit ma poésie, à peine
arrachée aux orties, empoignée sur
la solitude comme un châtiment,
ou qui dans le jardin de l'impudeur en éloignait
sa fleur la plus secrète au point de l'enterrer.
Isolé donc comme l'eau noire
qui vit dans ses couloirs profonds,
de main en main, je coulais vers l'esseulement
de chacun, vers la haine quotidienne.
je sus qu'ils vivaient ainsi, en cachant
la moitié des être, comme des poissons
de l'océan le plus étrange, et j'aperçus
la mort dans les boueuses immensités.
La mort qui ouvrait portes et chemins.
La Mort qui se faufilait dans les murs.
